Q. What are flower essences and how do they work?

Q.How are flower essences made ?

Languedoc Flower Essences are infusions of wild flowers in source water, gathered from sacred sites in the Languedoc region. The flowers leave their vibrational imprint in the water which is then stabilized in brandy. They contain no scent and are different to essential oils and herbal tinctures.

The Languedoc Flower Essences are prepared using source water (water coming right out of the mountains) of the areas where the flowers grow. Source water is living water of high vortexian energies and is more capable of carrying and transmitting the electromagnetic healing energies of the flower.

This process is an alchemical process, which involves the flower essence maker, the plant and flower, the building and over-lighting devas of the plant, the Sun, and Water.

As`such it is a sacred process which cannot be duplicated by machinery. It also follows that the more ‘pure’ the flower essence maker, the more potent the flower essences made by them will be.

Q. How do I take the flower essence and for how long?

The Languedoc Flower Essences are generally taken 4 drops under the tongue 4 times a day for at least two weeks. In some cases, usually when the problem is persistent or multi faceted, the essences may need to be taken for a longer period.

The idea is to repeatedly flood the bodymind with the alchemical synergism of the healing essence(s) of the flower(s), source waters and sunlight. Once the body is attuned to the new high frequency of the flower essence it will not longer need the remedy.

Q. How safe are they?

Flower essences are completely safe and natural. They are free from side effects and adjust to the needs of the individual taking them. It is not possible to overdose or injure when recommending them.

If an inappropriate remedy is chosen, it simply will not work and will do no harm. Adults and children, as well as animals and plants can use Flower Essences for great benefit.

My discovery

I made the first 10 Languedoc flower essences completely spontaneously. I was studying Medical Aromatherapy in the Languedoc in 1999 and during the breaks we students would take walks in nature outside the classroom.

As I was strolling along a pathway one day, gazing at a field of wild flowers, the Pyramid Orchid came to my attention. It ‘spoke’ to me and told me specifically how it could help humanity.

When the idea came to make a flower essence out of it, I sat with the flower, communed with it and experienced its benefits. I then asked its permission to use it for making a flower essence - and then proceeded to make it.

In the same way, I made another 9 essences on this trip. Each of these flowers ‘chose themselves’ and volunteered to be made into flower essences.

Since that first year, I have been back to the region six times and another 25 different flowers have called me to them and have spoken and shared with me how they can help humanity.

I do not set out into nature with an intention of making a flower essence for a particular purpose. I would be in a certain place, in nature, often focused on other things, when all of a sudden, literally, a flower will start speaking to me.

Then I would sit down and listen, ask questions, and either make the essence on the spot, or make an agreement with the flower to come back at another time to make it.

The creation process

When making the flower essence, I commune with it. I observe its shape, color and size and witness how it is part of the environment that it is growing in. This information forms a part of the doctrine of signatures of each particular Languedoc flower, as taught by Paracelsus, a doctor and alchemist of the Middle Ages.

I then allow myself to experience its healing effects, so that I have a first hand experience of how it works.

Often events leading up to making the flower essence - such as delays, emotional upsets, social events, etc - also play a part in revealing the purpose of the flower. Once the intention is set to make the flower essence, everything that occurs becomes part of its signature.

In this way the flower, nature and life circumstances all play their role in communicating the healing benefits of the flower. As I also play a role in this communication, I have to be aware of all these elements to accurately understand the healing actions of the flower essence.

The maker matters

From these experiences gained over the last nine years I have concluded that it matters who is making the flower essence - and also how it is made - since the human component forms part of the healing action of the remedy.

I have also learned through experience that the more conscious and self aware, the more attuned, sensitive and aligned the person is to the particular flowers made into essences, the stronger will be the healing action of the remedies.

In these ways, flower essences can lift us up to our highest consciousness - that of Divine harmony and unity within ourselves and with our environment.

Taking the Languedoc Flower Essences will connect us with the highest healing energies of Love, Forgiveness, Harmony and Compassion.

Languedoc Flower Essence Therapy

One of the oldest known sciences of healing views Nature as the manifestation of the Divine Mother, called Prakriti in Sanskrit or Mother Nature in English.

The Divine Feminine is viewed as the Wisdom aspect of the Creator, also known as Sophia.

The Mother (Yin) receives the impulse carrying the male seed (Yang), holds onto it, and forms it into the newborn organism inside her body, growing it with her own substance. This, of course, is the application of active intelligence, which we may call Wisdom.

This is also naturally the basis of creating Life.

The preparation of flower essences involves similar principles and roles. The male solar principle, i.e., sunlight (Yang), interacts with the flower petals, which supply the life force and healing consciousness. The sun interacts as well with the water (Yin) and petals to form the flower essence (called the Mother tincture).

In this latest cycle (Maha Yuga) of human incarnation on planet Earth, when humanity took on a physical body, (s)he incarnated in the Garden of Eden known as Lemuria 1 (approximately 500,000 years ago).

In the evolutionary plan for mankind, flowers were then and still are the very essence of the plant and contain the highest concentration of the life force (prana shakti) of the plant. The flower is the highest manifestation and the crowning glory of the plant's life cycle.

A Sufi mystic has expressed this understanding with his realisation that the "flower is the purpose of the seed."

Flowers contain the male and female portions of the plant, which are, of course, vital to the plant’s fertility and to its ability to continue as a species.

According to John the Apostle, who speaks through the trance channel Kevin Ryerson:

"When many souls fell and got trapped on the earth plane, God manifested His Spirit here in a specific intelligent pattern to shape and guide these souls. Part of God's Plan was to establish a specific relationship between the many plant forms and the humanoid form. With this development, these plants were gradually used as an enhancement for human growth in mind, body and spirit."

According to Arthur E. Waite, Paracelsus, in the 1500s, discovered (re-discovered) the principle known as "The Doctrine of Signatures." (Hermetical and Alchemical Writings of Paracelsus).

As John states:

"There are various quartz-like crystalline structures in the physical and subtle bodies that augment the impact of vibrational remedies. In the physical body, these areas include: cell salts, connective tissues, lymph, red and white blood cells, and the pineal gland. These crystalline structures are a complete system in the body, which are not yet properly isolated and understood by modern medicine.

Crystalline structures work on sympathetic resonancy. There is an attunement between crystalline properties in the physical and subtle bodies, the ethers, and many vibrational remedies, notably flower essences and gem elixirs.

These properties in the body magnify the life-force of the vibrational remedies to a recognizable level to be assimilated. When vibrational remedies are amplified, their life-force reaches the imbalanced parts of the body faster and in a more stable state.

The remedies may cleanse the aura and subtle bodies so those imbalances will no longer contribute to ill health.

If this sounds strange, remember scientists have many times proven that subtle energies such as ultrasonics and microwaves can cause sickness. Why cannot other subtle energies produce health?"
